Let’s give a huge KYC welcome to Bishop Will and Lauren Lott, our new Youth and Discipleship Director and Girls’ Ministries Coordinator!

Bishop Will has been the Youth and Discipleship Director in Mississippi since August 2022. He also served on the State Council, chaired the State Youth Board, and pastored the Church of God congregations in Bude, MS and Durant, MS over nine years with time served as a District Overseer. An avid hunter and fisher, he specializes in digital content and videography. He earned a Bachelor of Science with Cum Laude honors from Lee University in 2021.

Lauren earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education K-6 from the University of Southern Mississippi with high honors. She has taught second, fourth and fifth grade, and most recently as the Girls’ Ministries Coordinator and credentialing secretary in the Mississippi Church of God State Office. She is a worship leader who loves photography and gardening.

They are the proud parents of Daisy, who turns 8 in September, and Sawyer, who turns 5 in August.

We are excited to announce the return of the Youth & Discipleship Department Sponsored Golf Tournament!

This year, the Golf Tournament proceeds will be designated for equipment needs and upgrades for Youth Camp. Each summer, students from across the Blue Grass assemble at the State Office Campgrounds for a week of spiritual revival and making life-long friendships. As we continue to invest in the next generation through camps, we recognize the need to provide the best possible experience for our students. That’s why I’m excited to invite you to be a part of our 2025 Youth & Discipleship Golf Tournament—a fun and meaningful way to support the youth of Kentucky Church of God.

This year’s tournament will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Dix River Golf Course in Stanford, KY. [located at: 2220 US-27, Stanford, KY 40484] Shotgun start will begin at 9:00 in the morning, with a 4 person scramble format. Proceeds will go directly toward upgrading equipment and enhancing our summer youth programs, ensuring that every student who attends camp has an unforgettable experience.

How You Can Support:

Register to Play – Individual player registration is $70, which includes cart, lunch, swag bag, and opportunities to participate in different competitions: longest drive, closest to the pin, and a hole-in-one prize of $10,000 on a selected hole.

Sponsor a Hole – Your church or business can sponsor a hole, helping us maximize the impact of this fundraiser. We have three levels of sponsorship:

Bronze Level: $100

· Personalized sign displayed on a Tee Box.

Silver Level: $250

· Personalized sign displayed on a Tee Box, recognition in the Commonwealth Connection, one free registration, 2 Mulligans, and 1 Tee-Skirt

Gold Level: $500

· Personalized sign displayed on a Tee Box, recognition in the Commonwealth Connection, video shout-out, 2 free registrations, 4 Mulligans, and 2 Tee-Skirts

We are counting on your participation! Church and Business Sponsors are the key to making this work, but we also need all golfers to enter this tournament.
