The Kentucky Church of God welcomes Jan Jarvis as our new Women’s Ministries Director, as she joins her husband, Administrative Bishop David Jarvis, back at their Old Kentucky Home.
Sister Jan has been at the forefront of women’s ministries throughout her life. She has led State Women’s Ministry for the past eight years in West Virginia, the Heartland and the Rocky Mountain regions. Before that, she was a Girls’ Ministries Coordinator for 26 years in six states.
For a season, she raised her daughters Rhonda and Jessica in Kentucky while they pastored at Solid Rock in Louisville. Her move back to the Commonwealth is a family reunion of sorts as she rejoins Jessica and her husband Ryan and three grandchildren, all whom still live in Louisville.
A gifted worshipper and musician, Sister Jan looks forward to ministering to, and reconnecting with, the incredible and anointed woman of Kentucky!
UKRAINE: THE JOURNEY HOME
WOMEN WITH A MISSION: 2022-2024
The invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces in early 2022 separated families and displaced thousands of orphans. Immediately, the Church of God was instrumental in extracting nine orphanages from Ukraine and placing the children in semi-permanent housing in surrounding countries. Today, these children are waiting with anticipation for the day when they will be able to return home.
For 2022-2024 Church of God Women’s Ministries has adopted this need and desperately needs your assistance. There are some 100,000 orphans in need in Ukraine. With your support, we will rebuild lives, reestablish families, and provide transportation, clothing and food that will sustain these children throughout their journey home.
