Welcome back to Kentucky!
Join us in welcoming Bishop David and Jan Jarvis back to their Old Kentucky Home as our new State Overseer and Women’s Ministries Director!
The Jarvis family, who previously served in Kentucky as the pastors of the Solid Rock Church of God in Louisville, come back to us after serving the past two years in West Virginia. They arrive 34 years of State Office experience, as well as pastoral experience in Virginia, Kentucky and Hawaii. They are thrilled to live close to their three grandchildren in Louisville, as well as their daughter Jessica and son-in-law Ryan.
The Jarvis’ are joined by our new Youth and Discipleship Directors, Will and Lauren Lott, former pastors who led the Youth Department in their home state of Mississippi since 2022. They are the proud parents of two children: Daisy and Sawyer.

40 Day Prayer Challenge – Beginning January 1, 2026
Start your year with intentional prayer and renewed spiritual focus. The Kentucky Church of God invites individuals, families, and churches across our state to join us for a 40 Day Prayer Challenge, guided by Draw the Circle by Mark Batterson.
For 40 days, we will seek God together—believing for breakthrough, deeper faith, answered prayers, and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Each day’s reading and prayer focus will help you grow spiritually and strengthen your walk with Christ as we “circle” the promises of God.
This is a powerful opportunity for churches and ministry teams to unite in purpose, and for individuals to experience personal transformation as we dedicate the start of 2026 to prayer.
We invite you to join us on this journey.
Sign up below to receive updates, resources, and daily encouragement throughout the challenge.
